ABOUT HARRIET SHANNON
I have significant experience in account, project and event management. Along with disabled access and volunteer management. I am currently working for Bristol City Council as the City Events and Festivals Manager I have been working on events and festivals for over 10 years in various different role and have been specialising in accessibility for disabled customers, crew and artists. Working for several events, organisations and festivals over the last few years. I also work part time for Boomtown Festival as their Accessibility Manager where in 2019 & 2021, I collaborated with Attitude is Everything to help Boomtown Festival achieve a bronze charter award. Prior to this I worked for Oxfam, in their events and fundraising department, this role consisted of the project management of events and the account management of stakeholders, clients and suppliers. As well as the recruiting, training and management of our volunteer operations to encourage audience engagement and generate unrestricted income for the charity.
