ABOUT HARRIET NOTMAN
As a Data Steward in Jisc’s Data and Intelligence team I support projects across our licensing portfolios. I ensure our data underpins an evidence-based approach to negotiating digital content that benefits UK education and research, informing decisions for members, customers, and funders.My role focuses on data governance: assessing and prioritising data collection, identifying gaps, transforming and enhancing datasets, and enabling data sharing across departments. I manage and maintain core data assets, which includes managing our data catalogue and metadata. I work closely with business intelligence, marketing, licensing and HESA teams internally as well as our external stakeholders in HE, FE, and our vendors and funders.I build strong, long-lasting, relationships and place stakeholder experience at the heart of my work.Skills: Data governance; data-driven decision-making; data collection, transformation, and analysis; process creation and improvement; negotiation; report and policy writing; team leadership; project delivery; wide and extensive experience and knowledge of UK Higher Education, academic libraries, academic research, open access and publishing.Updates!
