Allwyn took over as operator of the National Lottery in February 2024, based on the bid-winning proposal which had Social Value at its heart - for Planet, People and Places. I am responsible for embedding our Social Value strategy across all our operations and supply chains, across our consumer facing products, and in the relationships that Allwyn holds with a very wide range of stakeholders.

ABOUT HARRIET JAMESON
Passionate about embedding social and environmental purpose into business strategy and culture. I designed the Social Value strategy for Allwyn UK, who took over as operator of the National Lottery on 1st February 2024. As Director of Social Value, I am now bringing our environmental and social responsibilities to life in how we operate the National Lottery. I am responsible for integrating our exciting commitments into how we grow and run our business, from our work culture, our strategy and processes to our external relationships. With 20 years in the charity sector, and having previously led the funding department for Comic Relief, through two major fundraising campaigns and the start of the covid crisis, I have a thorough understanding of the voluntary and grantmaking sector. A bilingual English and French speaker, I have strong communication and representation skills, having acted regularly as a spokesperson for Allwyn, Comic Relief, MSF and Oxfam.Specialties: Leadership and influencing skills, presentation skills at executive and Board levels, creative problem solver, deep commitment to and knowledge of Social Value and ESG issues
