Negotiate/approve/recommend/decline, within established guidelines and authorized lending limit, residential mortgage, real estate secured and unsecured applications.Experience up to 10 residential properties and multi-unit residential six plex and working with mortgages under Holding company. Review Appraisals and examine property condition and comparable sales used to support the market value Gather, review and critically assess property specific third party due diligence reports including real estate appraisals, environmental site assessments. Review real estate appraisals for consistency with prevailing market conditions Identifies service/operational inefficiencies and makes recommendations for value added enhancements to appropriate parties. Possess an expert understanding of credit policies/procedures and guidelines and provides sound credit counseling to sales/service partners. Applies sound credit judgment on complex applications, taking all necessary steps, recommends exceptions to credit guidelines within delegated authorities and refers when necessary. Utilizes excellent negotiation skills in all dealings with Service Partners. Exercises appropriate due diligence in following credit/operational risk policies, procedures, standards and guidelines. Assists with review of escalated deals for both Personal and Mortgage Specialist Credit Following communication and call out strategy process for Personal and Mortgage Specialist Credit Shows strong judgement and analytical skills guided by RBC risk policy
