UNICEF is the world’s farthest-reaching humanitarian organization for children. Across 190 countries and territories, and in the world’s toughest places, we work day in and day out to help children survive. To defend their rights. To keep them protected, healthy and educated. To give them a fair chance to fulfill their potential. UNICEF Youth Ambassadors are effective spokespersons for children\'s rights who help bring about positive changes locally, nationally, and globally. Their work is essential in igniting young people\'s creativity and energy to create a better world for kids. Other duties include: • Raise public awareness of global child issues, including those related to nutrition, healthcare, education, and safety from violence.• Get involved in the community to learn about its needs and problems, particularly those that impact children.• Encourage the raising of funds through fundraising to support UNICEF\'s projects and programs.• Motivate people and groups to support UNICEF\'s work by making donations and using other resources.• Establish collaborations to create alliances that assist UNICEF\'s programs with educational institutions, youth groups, and other interested parties.• Collaborate with groups that share your values to increase the influence of child advocacy initiatives.• Promote and equip youth to take up the cause of children\'s rights.• Encourage youth-led projects and initiatives that improve children\'s wellbeing.• Engage in conferences, meetings, and other gatherings to speak for young people when they are discussing issues pertaining to child rights.• Encourage your fellow youth to develop their leadership abilities and a broader awareness of global issues.• Encourage your peers to have a sense of responsibility and global citizenship.• Inspire a sense of interdependence and collective accountability in tackling worldwide issues.
