About Harold D. Tamayo
I build and scale healthcare platforms by aligning finance, operations, and technology to drive performance. As a CFO and Board Director with 20+ years across biopharma, medtech, pharmacy, and healthcare services, I have led organizations through complex operating environments including IPO readiness, private equity ownership, M&A integration, and multi-region expansion. My role consistently extends beyond finance into operational execution, infrastructure buildout, and performance management. I have operated across public, PE-backed, and privately held companies, leading multi-business unit platforms where success requires tight coordination across commercial, supply chain, and financial functions. This includes building scalable operating models, improving visibility into unit economics, and driving accountability across the organization. My background includes leadership roles at Merck, Novartis, Express Scripts, CVS Omnicare, and McKesson, as well as scaling growth-stage companies where speed, discipline, and execution matter. I am most effective in environments that require structure without slowing growth. I operate across the full enterprise including P&L performance, balance sheet discipline, and cash flow generation, with direct ownership of capital allocation, liquidity, and operating outcomes. My experience includes driving revenue growth, expanding EBITDA, improving cash conversion, and implementing the infrastructure needed to support scale. Currently, I serve as CFO of CareTria, where I am helping scale a multi-business unit healthcare services platform across patient access, distribution, and technology-enabled solutions.
