As a first generation Hispanic professional, I am the first in my family to earn a bachelor and master degree. Even with these educational milestones, I have also experienced my fair share of educational struggles but with my educational and professional experience in Higher Education, I pride myself in being a critical thinker, problem solver, and a strong communication professional.My passion is in continuing to be a vessel that can contribute and ease the process for future Hispanic and minority generations who are interested in pursuing their education.During my professional career in Higher Education, I have experience working with first-year and transfer students from both the 2-year community college and 4-year university level. My experience includes recruitment, admissions, financial aid, scholarships, and transfer credit evaluations for curriculum at the 4-year university level.I am skilled in Enrollment Management systems like Ellucian / Colleague, Recruit and Slate.
