The Mortgageman”, Harold Ahmad Steele is the President and General Manager of Blackstone Mortgage. Mr. Steele has been a top producer and trusted advisor in the mortgage industry for 18 years. As a “Real Estate Industry Expert” he has been featured on TV, radio and print for his keen insight and knowledge. He is also one of the few Mortgage Bankers in Houston to have achieved the prestigious “CMPS – Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist” professional designation which requires an expert knowledge of the overall financial industry in order to work side by side with his clients other financial advisors such as Financial Planners, CPAs, Insurance Professionals and Attorneys to ensure that his clients overall financial goals are met. Mr. Steele and his team have helped hundreds of Houstonians not only achieve the dream of homeownership, but make the right financial decisions concerning their homes as well. In addition to his success in the mortgage industry, Mr. Steele has several other successful businesses. Including Blackstone Custom Homes, where he specializes in affordable housing. He has built and helped several families achieve the dream of homeownership, by creating affordable housing within Houston’s redeveloping areas. As an avid cigar aficionado, Mr. Steele and his partners also own and operate a successful Cigar business called Presidential Cigars. Presidential Cigars quickly built a reputation for being one of the nicest upscale cigar lounges in the north Houston area, catering to discerning gentlemen that enjoy the camaraderie, networking and benefits of this private club. The success of Presidential Cigars led Mr. Steele and his partners to another business endeavor… The opening of “Five Central”; a Dining, Entertainment & Event complex located in the River Oaks area of Houston, where he holds stakeholder shares as an investor. Five Central consists of 5 upscale venues: A Restaurant, Mixology Bar, Live Music Venue, Social Club and Event Center. Most recently, Mr. Steele became one of the majority partners in an Asset Management Firm called Equity Secure Holdings, LLC… where he heads up the acquisition and operational side of managing the Real Estate investment fund of a Private Equity Firm. This venture will surely add to the legacy of entrepreneurial success that Mr. Steele has built in the City of Houston!
