ABOUT JIM HARMON

Jim has been involved in sales and marketing for more than 30 years, and was a key player in the launch of five businesses and numerous products. He began his marketing career with four of the top advertising agencies in the U.S. working on existing products and new product launches for major clients including Procter and Gamble, Frito-Lay, Maybelline, Carnation, Abbot Labs and Dow-Texize. Harmon was instrumental in the successful launch and sale of Virtual Learning Technologies, which developed K-12 Internet assessment and training solutions during the Internet’s infancy. And he managed sales and marketing efforts for Openshaw Media Group to acquire several State government contracts to deploy an automated, web-based driver knowledge testing system. Harmon recently directed the re-launch effort of Stroke Smart Magazine, and led the launch of Senior Care Products Magazine and the re-launch of HomeCare Magazine. Jim understands the fundamentals of marketing and selling products and services but also knows that it takes a unique and creative message to stand out from the crowd. And he thrives on seeing underdogs succeed!
