Managing team of Program & Project managers, providing leadership, direction & coaching to achieve objectives & drive performance - Ensuring established procedures are upheld and followed throughout the entire process of each project development and execution, fostering a culture of continuous improvement - Overseeing the work of all program and project management staff and taking ownership of the resulting quality of each project, providing strategic overview to senior management - Allocating and prioritizing engineering resources to meet the business objectives across all product lines - Providing all New Development Projects status reports to C level executives on a monthly basis - Aligning with product managers on project prioritization & communicating to the engineering team - Monitoring new opportunity pipeline & correlating with resource allocations to predict gaps & communicating with leadership team - Working with functional leaders & project managers to identify high level program risks & recommending mitigation plans - Providing a strategic overview & reporting on all new development programs to senior management on weekly basis - Analyzing financial data as it pertains to each project including proper distribution & allocation of resources, implementation of budgets & quantification of monetary risk & impact, & supporting forecasts & annual planning - Continually seeking ways to improve existing processes & establishing new ones to support completion of projects while satisfying applicable Quality & Regulatory requirements & providing appropriate training. Facilitating knowledge management & communication to deliver each project better than last - Ensuring accurate completion of documentation related to project creation, development & execution - Planning & implementing project management best practices to maximize project success and effectiveness - Managing and delivering various internal & special assignments as assigned by VP of R&D
