Manage and Control the Passenger Handling operations at Terminal-3, comprising of the following operational units: Check-in; Boarding; Transfer; Special Handling; Visa check; Arrivals & Airlines Administration. This is in order to conduct operations within budgeted costs, ensuring the delivery of established service standards, in compliance with the local & inter safety/security parameters- Constantly working in a dynamic operational environment due to varying customer needs and changing airport environments. This demands constant review of action plans, strategies, and policies and effective control over manpower resources in order to bring the best out of individuals under trying circumstances- The work environment involves constant interaction with a multi-ethnic workforce and customers, which demands a diplomatic and tactful approach to diffusing interpersonal conflicts- Achieving measurable quality targets and key result areas for all the units, against set benchmarks. This is in order to control the performance of the service delivery teams and ensure the department’s compliance with quality standards- Develop strong business relationships with various airport authorities such as Airport Police, CISF, and Airport Immigration & Customs, through effective networking, in order to secure maximum support of the authorities to meet the Passenger Handling objectives- Discuss and negotiate with other departmental heads, for issues/policies which might have a knock-on impact. This is to ensure that the department’s interest does not conflict with the overall interest of the organization- Manage and Control all airport facilities pertaining to the Passenger Handling Operations at Terminal-3, Facilities.
