The inception of a contaminated sites industry in the early 1990\'s drew my attention as an opportunity to combine a strong scientific background with business development skills. My passion is to be the best at solving the myriad business problems which arise from regulatory-driven environmental issues. This is problem solving at its best with the need to balance business, regulatory and technical factors within serious cost and time constraints; and the need to obtain third-party Ministry of Environment endorsement in the form of Certificates of Compliance. In the contaminated sites industry, this skill has been rewarded by complex brownfield challenges which have ranged from \"technologically impossible\" multi-million dollar cleanups, to remediation of B.C.\'s largest shipyard, and many others in between.
