About Erika Harley
Hello! I’m Erika, an honors student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Cybercrime, graduating in May 2026. This summer, I’m interning at Dow Jones in their Risk & Compliance division, where I’m gaining hands-on experience in regulatory research, third-party due diligence, and corporate compliance practices. I’m particularly interested in how companies manage legal and ethical risks, and I’ve been actively expanding my knowledge through projects and self-study during my internship.On campus, I serve as Vice President of ALPFA John Jay, supporting financial strategy and compliance efforts while helping to lead professional development initiatives for Latino students. I’m also a Fellow with America Needs You and a participant in the Financial Women’s Association Wall Street Exchange Program. Through these roles, I’ve strengthened my skills in research, organization, and cross-functional communication.
