ABOUT HARLEEN RATTAN

I am a MPAcc graduate from the USask Edwards School of Business and intending to pursue a CPA designation. I completed my BCom at the UBC Sauder School of Business specializing in Accounting with a concentration in Business Analytics. I am currently a staff accountant at EY in the assurance practice. I work on audit engagements across diverse industries, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of their financial statements. My work involves evaluating internal controls, identifying risks, and providing actionable insights to strengthen financial reporting processes. I am committed to delivering high-quality audits and staying up-to-date with evolving accounting standards to help clients navigate complex financial environments. I also completed a co-op placement in TELUS’s Indirect Tax department, where I was responsible for preparing monthly tax returns and quarterly CSR reports. My strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to independently solve problems enabled me to excel in this role and contribute effectively to the team. In my spare time you can find me staying physically active, giving back to my community, or watching the Toronto Raptors play on TV.
