As the Operations Training Manager, I oversee a dispersed team of instructors tasked with designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating all technical training and skills improvement training for operations personnel at multiple gas and coal fired generation stations in accordance with the Systematic Approach to Training procedures.Roles and Responsibilities:• Lead a team of 9 Management & Specialist continuing training specialists and 2 Trades & Labor instructors to provide critical technical, regulatory, compliance, continuing and initial training to TVA, Staff Augmented and Contracted employees throughout the TVA service area • Build key relationships with customers within Fossil (Coal, Gas & Hydro) and Nuclear Power Operations, Transmission Services and Human Resources to increase the working relationships and trust between these organizations and Technical Training• Partner with key business units to further the readiness and effectiveness of their population by increasing the knowledge, skills, and abilities for their employees
