Managing a personal caseload of approximately 90 subrogated recovery claims, involving pre-litigated matters across fast-track and intermediate track levels - Conducting detailed assessments of new property damage instructions to determine the commercial viability of pursuing recovery - Analysing insurer policy documents, loss adjuster reports and expert evidence to establish causation and liability - Handling all stages of claims, including drafting correspondence, negotiating settlements and preparing case documentation - Liaising with clients, third parties, insurers and loss adjusters to ensure timely progression of matters - Preparing instructional summaries outlining case prospects, potential liabilities, legal risks and strategic recommendations - Monitoring key performance indicators, chargeable time metrics, billing targets and client expectations
