ABOUT HARJ S.

With over 13 years of experience in Human Resources, I am passionate about delivering pragmatic, people-focused solutions that balance compliance with commercial needs. My expertise covers Employment Law, Employee Relations, Absence Management, Engagement, Wellbeing, Learning & Development, Coaching, and Change Management. I enjoy working with businesses to solve challenges, drive positive workplace cultures, and support both organisations and their people to succeed.As an HR Consultant, I provide bespoke HR and Employment Law support to a diverse client base across the UK. This includes advising on day-to-day HR matters, drafting and reviewing contractual documentation, updating policies and procedures in line with legislation, and supporting clients with formal processes such as investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, restructures, TUPE, redundancies and ACAS concilliation. I also deliver coaching and training, both remotely and on-site, to build capability and confidence within client organisations.In my role as HR Lead, I manage and develop a small consultancy team while continuing to advise my own clients. I combine team leadership with hands-on HR delivery — setting HR strategy, ensuring compliance, leading on complex employee relations cases, and driving continuous improvement across HR practice. I also take pride in coaching and mentoring both clients and my team, ensuring that the advice and support we provide is consistent, commercial, and legally sound.My career has given me the opportunity to work across a wide range of industries, enabling me to tailor HR solutions to meet the unique needs of each business. I am motivated by making a difference, whether through resolving sensitive employee relations issues, implementing strategic HR initiatives, or guiding businesses through periods of change.Since January 2025, I have also been proud to serve as an elected Parent Governor at my children’s school, contributing to governance, strategy, and decision-making to support the school community.
