About Harit Goyal
Reporting to the Director of the Company with dotted line to VP Commercial, the responsibilities includes:*Oversee activities related to timely, cost-effective Procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of incoming raw materials (HR Coils, Iron Ore, Coal, Dolomite, Lime Stone, Bentonite, Furnace Oil, Diesel, Manganese Ore, Coke, Quartz etc to be named as few) to avoid costly delays and lost in revenue through out-of-stock situations.*Develop, implement and maintain procedures and inventory management systems to reduce cost.*Ensure comprehensive market analysis to determine vendor sources and product development as part of staying relevant in highly competitive market.*Ensure comprehensive and regular price benchmarking for material/products and services to determine vendors are delivering at most reasonable cost.*Responsible for sourcing and supplying materials/products/services to the concerned processes, as well as coordinating with all stakeholders in the Supply Chain right from Vendor to Process till Customer.*Ensure availability of materials in the supply chain as scheduled and maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptance levels.*Ensure appropriate and most cost effective negotiation and award of contractual purchase agreements with Vendors.*Prepare management reports/data of Procurement and Supply Chain from time to time as may be required by management.*Meets with vendor representatives to discuss price changes, trade and cash discounts and delivery arrangements.*Demonstrated effective leadership of the department including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, employee development and employee relation issues.*Other related duties assigned as needed.
