ABOUT HARIS HAYAT
I am a final-year Accounting and Finance student at Abertay University with practical experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting through my internship at NCR Atleos.During my internship, I developed strong analytical skills by supporting financial reporting processes, analysing revenue data, and contributing to forecasting and business decision-making. I have gained hands-on experience using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Sage, and Xero to analyse financial information and present insights effectively.Alongside my academic studies, I have developed strong leadership and organisational skills as President and Treasurer of the Abertay Islamic Society, where I helped grow the society, manage finances, and lead successful events and initiatives.I will soon begin an MSc in Data Analytics at University of Strathclyde, where I aim to further develop my skills in data analysis, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making.I am particularly interested in opportunities within finance, analytics, and data-driven strategy, particularly in industries such as energy, finance, and technology.
