About Harish Narasimhan
I am a postdoctoral scientist in Dr. Herbert Schiller\'s laboratory at the Precision Regenerative Medicine research unit, Helmholtz Munich, studying the intersection of immunology, aging, and lung biology. I previously completed my doctoral work at Dr. Jie Sun\'s laboratory at the Carter Immunology Center, University of Virginia, where my research revolved around the long term consequences of respiratory viral infections such as SARS-CoV-2 and influenza. I hope to apply this training and experience to study age-associated immune dysfunction and develop therapeutic strategies to enhance protective immune responses and healthspan.
