Define scope of the project and create Gantt chart to plan and track project\'s progression to deliver by Program Start Completion milestone Nominate Suppliers and lead RFQ (Market Test) for different benchmark designs, and capture and arrange quotes from supplier or support creation of cost estimates of different designs Create project scope and investigate parts in assembly belonging to other departments, while choosing designs to benchmark against using company database and online research Conduct part teardowns for different designs from competitors to examine their design and manufacturing strategy Using supplier quotes or cost estimates, create cost-model to quantify design attributes Compare supplier quotes of different design to explore commercial opportunities.
