ABOUT HARI KALYMNIOS

THE MISSING LINK IN CREATING HIGH PERFORMING TEAMS, EMPLOYEES AND LEADERS.We are living in an ever-increasing VUCA environment (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous). The pace of change is accelerating and our current and future leaders and change-makers are not equipped to deal with it. While there has been much focus on equipping employees with skills, experience and behaviours to increase performance, nothing has been done to look at what ultimately drives all this. HEALTH, VITALITY & ENERGY. Complete wellbeing. It’s akin to running the latest tech applications on a 30-year old computer that was once state of the art. It’s obvious what will happen. The machine will crash. Suffer ‘burn-out’. The solution is clear. Upgrade the hardware and software to the latest computer. Then running the latest applications will pose no threat. And yet this isn’t obvious when it comes to people. The traditional way to asses performance (and improve it) looks like this:Skills/Knowledge + Experience + Behaviour = Performance (Gap analysis)(Role energy that a person brings to their performance is not considered. And yet energy fuels everything else. We are sprinting towards a commercial crisis. The way we have been working, isn’t working. How performance really increasing is like this: ENERGY + Skills/Knowledge + Experience + Behaviour = Performance (BEAT MODEL)(Gap analysis)(Role vital and energised leaders and employees is what ultimately matters. Without energy, health and vitality, it doesn\'t matter how many strategies you put in place. You simply won\'t have the energy to execute on those. Einstein famously stated E=mc(2). What this means is that at the root of everything is energy. Both you and your employees and business need energy to perform. Personal, human energy. As employee energy and wellbeing runs low, it directly affects personal performance. And therefore team, divisional and company performance. The UK’s Office of National Statistics estimates that 137 million working days are lost each year to ill health. That’s costing us £72 billion. Health, vitality, energy - wellbeing, isn’t just about mental health, or physical health. It’s everything. It’s about employees being equipped to thrive, not just survive. And that\'s where I come in. Having spent over a decade working out what exactly goes into feeling healthy, energised and vital I can help you.
