ABOUT HARI VISWANATHAN

With a strong commercial background and proven experience optimising business efficiencies, profitability, and performance in dynamic and tight-margin business sectors, I develop working strategies to identify and act upon business opportunities, positioning me as a trusted partner to commercial teams and the C-suite.This includes recent experience holding full control of an onshore-offshore team approaching 150 people for one of Australia’s leading telecommunications providers, including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow, reporting, and audit engagement. This has cemented my ability to lead at scale, maturing and developing new reporting that has realised direct impacts on EBITDA and significantly reduced business risk. Underpinning this is more than 20 years in commercial management, supporting financial modelling for significant deals and optimising operations to realise critical efficiencies during crisis periods such as COVID. On a personal level, I’m known for being resilient, reliable, a problem-solver and a solution-creator with a passion for operational and organisational excellence. This is shown most clearly in delivery of tangible efficiencies, standardisation, tech utilisation and improved reporting and analytics. I also have an ability to provide strong and influential leadership across functions and levels through cultivation of trust and respect-based relationships that result in effective peer-to-peer collaboration and natural followship from my teams.
