In this project, the individual was responsible for designing a payload for Boston Dynamics\' Spot robot to enable autonomous campus tours. They used SolidWorks for CAD modeling to ensure compatibility and functionality, performed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tests to ensure safety and structural integrity, conducted extensive research and literature reviews to inform design decisions, and underwent multiple iterations to refine the CAD model. Additionally, they were actively involved in selecting suitable sensors to enhance the payload\'s tour capabilities.
