I developed Office JS add-ins using the Office Add-ins platform, extending the functionality of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, or Outlook. This involved implementing custom task panes or ribbon buttons to streamline user workflows and enable additional features. Leveraging the Office JS API, I successfully implemented data retrieval and manipulation from Office documents, empowering users to interact with and modify document content programmatically. To enhance code maintainability and performance, I employed a modular and component-based architecture with React, incorporating state management libraries like Redux and implementing lazy loading and code splitting techniques for optimized page load times. I ensured reliability through comprehensive testing using frameworks like Jest or Mocha, achieving high code coverage. I automated build, testing, and deployment processes by setting up CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab CI, enabling faster and more reliable software releases. Collaborating closely with UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders, I translated wireframes and prototypes into visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, significantly reducing design iteration time. Additionally, I developed a custom library leveraging the Office JS library to efficiently access and manipulate Word document content, resolving challenges across multiple projects.
