About Hareef Baba Shaeb
Hareef baba shaeb.K received MSc in Physics degree from Pondicherry central university with a Gold medal to his credit. He completed United Nations-Centre for Space Science Technology and Education in Asia and the Pacific course on Space and Atmosphere from Physical Research laboratory with a merit Award. He completed PhD in Physics from Nagpur University. He joined ISRO as a Scientist in 2007 at RRSC-Nagpur. Since then he has contributed effectively in Earth system science research involving remote sensing of the Land, Atmosphere and Ocean. He is presently working on Radiosonde Network for NICES project. He has recently participated in southern ocean expedition to Antarctic coastal waters and made measurements of greenhouse gases and aerosols. He contributed in different projects namely Aerosol Radiative Forcing Over India, National Carbon Project, National mission project on National Land Use and Land Cover Mapping Using Multi temporal AWiFS Data, National Land Degradation Project, SARAl/Altika Project, Fog detection, monitoring and forecast project, Cloud cover and fraction products for NICES, Radiosonde Network for NICES ( RANN). He has many publications in renowned journals on remote sensing, Atmosphere and Ocean and Reviewer for peer reviewed journal
