About Robert J.

As an assistant principal with over 17 years of educational experience and two master\'s degrees in Educational Leadership and Literacy, I have a deep understanding of the complex challenges facing educators, students, and administrators today. I have a proven track record of offering strategic guidance, thought leadership, and actionable recommendations to address critical issues at the school and district level. I contribute valuable insights to inform decision-making processes and help the district administrative team achieve defined goals and objectives. I have added value by analyzing schoolwide and districtwide data, gaining insights, and making data driven decisions to fix new and existing problems. I have led several successful initiatives including creating a district transportation matrix to streamline discipline procedures, refining the truancy process to increase overall effectiveness, and creating schoolwide incentive programs to boost student achievement. I also serve as the coordinator and lead facilitator for a mentorship group sponsored by My Brother’s Keeper for 7th and 8th grade boys of color. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with this group of students. My goal is to develop them into future professionals and assets to their community by developing their leadership, goal setting, and problem-solving skills. My expertise and commitment to excellence has resulted in positive change within my school, district, and community.
