Perform cut & etch testing on welded assemblies to verify weld integrity as part of product and processvalidation.• Use tools including plasma cutters, chop saws, air chisels, and hand grinders to prepare test couponsand destruct samples.• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on weld cross-sections to identify discontinuities such asporosity, undercut, cracks, and lack of fusion.• Perform non-destructive and destructive testing in support of PPAP submissions, NSF/IATF audits,and prototype evaluation.• Prepare weld samples using etching and polishing techniques for metallurgical evaluation; interpretresults against automotive quality standards.• Maintain proper documentation and reporting of test results, tagging non-conforming parts, andassisting in corrective actions and root cause analysis.• Calibrate and maintain testing and measurement equipment; assist with equipment certification andcompliance audits.• Collaborate with Engineers, Quality team, and Robot Technicians to support continuous improvementand operator training on weld inspection procedures.• Ensure compliance with 5S, health & safety, and chemical handling protocols in the testing lab.
