Designed and implemented an event-driven architecture to synchronise real-time lifecycle updates for regions and availability zones from Region Information Provider (RIP) into the supply chain source-of-truth service, improving AWS fulfilment planning and visibility for new regions and availability zones.2. Built a serverless backend using Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and S3 to replace a legacy CAD-based floor-plan upload workflow with a scalable Excel-based workflow that generated rack layout entities with accurate spatial metadata; reduced processing time from 6 minutes to 1 minute, eliminated runtime failures, and enabled 5× more frequent uploads to accelerate physical space creation for landing racks and layout readiness.3. Extended the Excel-based solution to support upload of liquid cooling equipment (IRHX) for ML racks, accelerating floor-plan uploads for rapidly growing ML rack demand.4. Led and deployed a solution for a critical data accuracy issue in rack position reservations across the fleet by designing an event-driven architecture with SNS, SQS, and Lambda for real-time updates, plus a batch correction job using AWS Batch and DynamoDB integrated with the source-of-truth service. Eliminated customer-reported errors (from 10 weekly incidents to 0) and removed discrepancies across 1M+ rack positions globally.5. Optimised a Lambda in a planner Step Function that scanned DynamoDB items by implementing a multithreaded parallel scan strategy, cutting execution time from over 15 minutes (causing Lambda timeouts and Step Function failures) to 3 minutes 30 seconds, improving system scalability and reliability.6. Built a customer-facing automation feature for PDC upload/configuration across global data centres, replacing electrical engineer workflows with a 1-click solution; eliminated manual effort and defects, and cut configuration time from 1 week to under 2 minutes, boosting rack deployment capacity.
