I build diagnostic solutions at the intersection of molecular biology and technology transfer. As a Senior Scientist & Transfer Manager at Fraunhofer IZI-BB, I turn research into deployable tools— from assay design and validation to pilot studies and partnerships. Over 25 years, my work has spanned molecular diagnostics, Lab-on-a-Chip, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) detection. I lead interdisciplinary teams and collaborate with SMEs, clinics, and public-health stakeholders across Europe. Current focus: point-of-care testing, rapid NAAT, and evidence-based decision support.
