ABOUT NICK HAMMOND

I’m a Lead Software Engineer with 15 years of commercial experience delivering projects across various enterprise sectors. I specialise in the design, implementation, and deployment of scalable platforms to meet current and future requirements, via cross-functional, multi-disciplinary delivery teams.Specifically, I have three distinct areas of responsibility across the lifecycle of a project. Initially I advise and design the platform architecture to meet the goals and needs of the project. Next, during the development phase of a project, I will oversee the implementation of the APIs, create the 3rd party integrations and any databases required. Lastly, I will create, or consult on all the CI/CD required to deliver all parts of the project from the front-end iOS, Android or Web applications, to the automated testing to the multiple environments required for the project.I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other developers. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favourite stage of a project is developing the solution to a problem. Collaborating with the other engineers, project leaders, etc. to form cutting edge technology means everyday is an exciting one.
