In terms of my professional experience, I have worked as a Merchandiser cum Designer in Nordiski Indian Sourcing Pvt. Ltd.(Buying House) for two years. My role included managing 15-20 suppliers, designers, and articles, as well as working closely with the supply office manager to understand and develop the requirements of different products. I also negotiated better prices, innovation, quality, and delivery, and handled product categories like home textiles and decoration. In addition to my work experience, I completed a college project on Liquid Moisture Transmission and Absorption Properties of Rib Weft Knitted Fabric at The Technological Institute of Textile & Sciences, Bhiwani, Haryana. This project allowed me to develop my research and analytical skills, which have been essential in my professional life. Furthermore, I completed a 45-day training project in Silver Spark Apparel Ltd-UNIT-II (Raymond), Gauribidanur, where I worked on increasing productivity in the cutting department. I conducted time studies and developed spreading tables to increase laying efficiency, reduce laying time, and improve overall productivity. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Textile from The Technology Institute of Textile & Sciences, Bhiwani, where I achieved a 60% score. I also completed certified courses in fashion/textile designing software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and CorelDRAW. Overall, my experience, education, and skills make me a well-rounded and valuable asset to any team. I am highly motivated, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and possess a strong work ethic.
