   As both a Partner and the General Manager at Carolina Marine Restorations, I oversee all aspects of daily operations while driving long-term growth, strategic development, and team success.I helped lead the company from a part-time side venture to a full-time operation—surpassing in revenue within our first 9 months. Since then, we’ve become a trusted marine service provider in the Charleston area.My role spans across operations, leadership, client management, and growth strategy. I’m responsible for coordinating scheduling, managing crews, tracking inventory, maintaining service quality, and implementing internal systems that support both day-to-day and long-term goals. Every process I’ve built is designed to streamline our workflow and improve both efficiency and customer satisfaction.A major focus has been team development. I’ve personally interviewed and hired over 40 employees and now manage a 15-person staff organized into multiple specialized crews. I emphasize culture, accountability, and skill-building through hands-on training and leadership. This has helped foster a reliable, productive, and motivated team.Strategically, I’ve played a central role in expanding our offerings and building strong partnerships with vendors, subcontractors, and even local competitors. These relationships have created valuable networks of referrals and resources, allowing us to scale without compromising quality.From launch through January 2024, I led all marketing efforts—branding, website, social media, and content strategy—before hiring a dedicated marketing lead. I continue to contribute to high-level brand strategy and business development.Carolina Marine Restorations is Charleston’s one-stop shop for marine services, including detailing, maintenance, gelcoat and fiberglass repairs, outboard servicing, wiring/installation, woodwork, and captain services. Our mission is to simplify and elevate the boat ownership experience through trusted, expert care.
