ABOUT HANY ABDELAAL

As a physician-executive with more than 25 years of experience, I’ve worked across nearly every part of the healthcare system—leading health plans, working inside integrated delivery systems, and caring for patients across hospitals, primary care, urgent care, SNFs, and home-based settings. That broad experience has shaped a core belief that healthcare can—and must—be simpler, better coordinated, and more human. I bring a unique combination of clinical insight, operational leadership, and a deep understanding of managed care, including the financial structures that drive performance and access. My ability to connect the dots—between health plan strategy and provider realities—helps organizations design care models that work for the people they serve. I’ve seen firsthand how aligning incentives and building trust between plans and providers improves both outcomes and sustainability. Throughout my career, I’ve led transformative work in Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS), Home- and Community-Based Services (HCBS), and complex care. Whether building crisis stabilization programs, launching housing-based health solutions, or improving palliative care access, my focus has remained on meeting people where they are—clinically, culturally, and emotionally. I’m deeply committed to advancing the quintuple aim: improving outcomes, enhancing patient and provider experience, lowering costs, and promoting equity. I’ve championed the use of technology, predictive analytics, and remote monitoring to personalize care, reduce avoidable utilization, and close systemic gaps. At the heart of my leadership is a passion for making healthcare work better—for patients, providers, and communities. I believe that when we bring together clinical excellence, financial stewardship, and thoughtful design, we can build systems that truly serve.
