Operational Responsibilities and Accountabilities:• Compilation and familiarization of the prognosed well programme, all available regional data (including nearby offset wells), and the drilling programme reports, and awareness of any special operational problems (eg unconsolidated formations, over pressured drilling conditions etc.)• Co-ordinate with the Company`s representative concerning the well objectives, programmed core intervals, the borehole logging programme, and special recommendations etc• Supervision and control of the Mud Logging Unit• Sample description and interpretation (ditch cuttings, sidewall cores and conventional cores)• Description and interpretation of both chromatography and fluorescence shows• Analysis of the drilling parameters and interpretation of the changes in the rate of penetration(Drilling break)• Daily correlation between prognosed and actual results, including the overall interpretation of all previous data• Propose changes in the coring and logging programmes to the Company`s representative based on previously made correlations and Interpretations• Perform the quality and efficiency controls of the Wireline Logging Operators• Quick-look log evaluation and recommendation of sampling intervals/points for sidewall cores, fluid samples and pressure measurement tests• Transmission data and reporting in due time, including all those described in the appendices along with the filling out of the required forms, and also the Well Completion Report.• Assure the reliability of the acquired data.• Supervise all the mudlogging processes and operations while drilling and coring, and making sure that Company`s standards are accomplished.• Quality control of the wireline logging programme, and monitoring the efficiency of the operation by means of the spreadsheet included in the utility diskette.
