The lab is focused on researching the development of post-traumatic arthritis. Received Kappa Delta Award from the Orthopaedic Research Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons-I partake in spleen cell isolation, immunohistochemistry, histology, MicroCT analyses, bone marrow isolation from the tibia, and mouse knee dissections- I am responsible for spearheading research regarding the immunological implications of the spleen in mitigating the development of arthritis through the presence of CD4+ cells, resulting in a Next Science Journal grant submission.
