Combat Deployment (Djibouti, Horn of Africa): Assigned as the Squad Designated Marksman (SDM) in my 9-man squad. My company was assigned to the East Africa Response Force (EARF). We worked and trained with partnering nations.•Worked directly with US Embassies in Africa.•Civil Disturbance Missions: Called to assist law enforcement at times of emergency for the Commonwealth of VA and the Federal Government.•Basic training: Completed at Fort Benning GA, went through rigorous military training including combat training, weaponry, and physical training (PT) tests. •Ranger Training leader Initiative Course: Multiple style ranger physical training tests, studied and conducted battle drills and learned land navigation.•Currently perform monthly drill, maintain weapons and tactics proficiency.

Hello Everyone! I\'m currently a senior finance veteran day student at The Citadel. I have served 7 years in the Virginia Army National Guard and have done numerous types of missions at the state and federal levels. I have gained life changing and valuable skills from my time in the military. The Citadel is the place where I spend most of my time these days as a full-time student. I\'m driven by all the vast opportunities that have already been presented to me from being at The Citadel. I\'m aspiring to venture into the business world, and more specifically, sales. I\'m open to any new door that leads to new and exciting opportunities.
