With over 20 years of experience, my background spans art, technology, entrepreneurship, and education—all of which have shaped the innovative, research-based tools our team has developed for educators, mental health professionals, and leaders across various fields.Starting as a teacher with a degree in fine art, I transitioned into technology and entrepreneurship, serving as the art director for a video game company, and founding web development and hosting companies, North Sky, and Freeservers.com. These experiences honed my skills in creativity, business, and technology—essential in building and leading a remarkable team at WhyTry. Together, we’ve developed programs like Resilience for Youth, The WhyTry Program, The Resilience Breakthrough, and The Transformational Leader Toolkit, implemented in thousands of schools and organizations across the US and internationally.Throughout my career, I have trained and consulted with professionals—including teachers, administrators, counselors, social workers, mental health professionals, corrections staff, military personnel, and first responders—on resilience-building. This has strengthened my commitment to creating practical solutions that foster connection, motivation, and personal resilience skills.At WhyTry, we focus on education and struggling youth, but our impact extends beyond schools.
