ABOUT HANS-DIETER STEGUWEIT
I started my career as In-house Consultant for Bayer before moving into Procurement. Today, I consider myself as Procurement professional with a solid amount of experience working and managing different Procurement categories and teams. Before heading Procurement R&D Operations which is a team of 11 sourcing managers with global footprint, I have been on an assignment to lead 6-10 teams handling global Source-to-Pay (Order Processing) activities within Bayer’s Global Business Services in the Philippines. In my previous roles I was responsible to source IT solutions (services, software, SaaS, …) myself to enable Bayer`s Digital Transformation and developed strategies and optimization projects as Inhouse consultant with focus on Supply Chain and Procurement. Due to my diverse inter-cultural and professional experiences gained from working for six companies in six different countries, I am able to adapt quickly into a new working environment. Personally, I have strong interest in emerging markets and developed a passion for distinct social organizations and sport.
