ABOUT HANNY F.
Hanny has more than 29 years of experience in the healthcare, system integration, and enterprise architecture fields. Prior to joining UST-Global, he led the product development at Medxoom and was a member of the strategy and innovation team at HMS. During his 12 years at Cambia Health Solutions, he co-founded Wellero, was the Director of Technology for Cambia’s Direct Health Solutions division, and the Chief Technology Officer and Director of Technology for RegenceRx (OmedaRx). He also spent five years as an Enterprise Architect at Regence Blue Cross and Blue Shield. At UST-Global, Hanny is leading the product engineering team for the Healthcare Platform Solutions division. The team is responsible for evaluating and creating new products as well as providing architectural direction for current customers and ongoing implementations of core healthcare systems and integration efforts. He is also a member of the M&A diligence team. At HMS, Freiwat was the integration lead for the acquisition of Essette, a care management platform development company. He also led the project to consolidate two salesforce.com organizations. In addition, he performed M&A diligence duties, advised on new product strategy, and developed strategic market analysis studies. Before joining the Cambia family of companies, Freiwat spent 10 years as an independent Senior Integration Consultant for numerous health insurance companies and held various roles in the information technology field. In addition, he designed, developed, and implemented commercial software packages and lead tracking systems for national organizations. Freiwat received a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona. Hanny is currently a member of the inaugural mentorship team for the Masters in Healthcare Management program at the University of Arizona. He resides in Portland, Oregon with his wife and can regularly be found on the soccer field playing or coaching, although he would like more time to cycle as well. In addition, Freiwat also pursues scholarly interests, including the ancient Aramaic language.
