ABOUT HANNES ROTHE
I (he/him/his) am a dad of two, chair of information systems and sustainable supply chain management at University of Duisburg-Essen, head of Co-Creation Lab: Place Beyond Bytes, and co-founder of the Digital Entrepreneurship Hub. At day, I study sustainability in digital innovation & entrepreneurship, digital ecosystems, and organizing data and knowledge. My research has been published in leading journals of information systems and strategic management, including Information Systems Research, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Strategic Management Journal, European Journal on Information Systems, Information Systems Journal, or Business and Information Systems Engineering. At night, I run a pre-incubator for digital ventures, engage with the RUHR startup ecosystem, and help AI entrepreneurs fulfill their dreams of changing the world for the better.
