In the spring of 2023, I graduated magna cum laude from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Hospitality Management. In 2022, I completed a professional internship as an Activities Intern at Corolla Light Resort in North Carolina. During my final three semesters at Iowa State, I worked with Levy Restaurants at various venues in Ames, catering corporate events and serving suites at sporting events.After graduating, I moved to Richmond, Virginia, to begin a year-long Manager in Training rotational program at The Country Club of Virginia. Over the course of the year, I developed a broad skill set that enabled me to successfully manage The Poolside Café for the 2024 season. My responsibilities included all aspects of operations—hiring, training, scheduling, menu development, inventory management, ordering, and stocking. While I appreciated the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the private club industry, I ultimately realized that the lifestyle wasn’t sustainable for me and decided to explore other career paths.In January of 2025 I began as a temp in the corporate office for Lansing Building Products in the Logistics Department. After 6 months I was offered a permanent position as the Fleet Support Specialist for the company. This has been the opportunity of a lifetime, and I am excited the grow within the company.

   Manage fleet operations, ensuring compliance with DOT, IFTA, IRP, and HUT requirements for all fleet equipment across 110+ branches.• Add and maintain accurate driver and equipment records in internal database.• Administer GPS services by coordinating with the vendor, managing unit installations and removals, and maintaining accurate inventory control of all GPS devices.• Collaborate with different leasing companies/suppliers such as Holman, Penske, LiftOne, and Hiab.• Manage the full vehicle lifecycle, including onboarding paperwork, ordering decals, updating registration, issuing insurance cards and toll transponders, and handling offboarding documentation for transfers or vehicle sales.• Administer and track fleet fuel cards, fuel PINs, and fuel purchases.
