I co-founded Epic-Cure, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to tackling food waste and food insecurity through innovative, sustainability-focused solutions. Entirely volunteer-run, our organization rescues surplus food that would otherwise go to landfills and redistributes it to individuals and families experiencing need. Since launching in 2018, we’ve diverted over 30 million pounds of food from waste streams, now reaching more than 2,200 families each week. My role has included leading program development, managing cross-sector partnerships, and co-developing a logistics app to reduce food loss during transport. Epic-Cure is rooted in the belief that environmental and social challenges can be addressed hand-in-hand, with community-driven action at the core.
