HANNA LANE MILLER is a documentary filmmaker from Collins, Mississippi currently helping lead a young media start-up, Elemmir, to the forefront of visual storytelling for marketing and sales. As Head of Story at Elemmir, HANNA has managed a highly productive and driven team to produce game changing sales, social media, recruitment, and educational video content for tech companies like Realtor.com, Qualia, Kinetic Insurance, RentRedi, and Mighty Networks. HANNA has brought products from conceptualization to implementation and boosted social engagement and conversions for clients up to 300%. As a filmmaker, HANNA has partnered with and been funded by the New York Times, Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, Ford Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, Rolling Stone, POV, Independent Lens, and more. Her Op-Doc \"We Became Fragments\" was considered for an Oscar nomination, received an IDA nomination, and won LA International Shorts Film Festival. She is currently working on her first feature film, a film supported by the Bay Area Video Coalition\'s MediaMaker Fellowship, the Mississippi Film Alliance, and the Mississippi Arts Commission. In 2013, HANNA graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Sewanee: The University of the South, where she earned degrees in Russian, American Studies, and Women\'s Studies. Her academic background is in sexual assault crisis response on University campuses, the Russian punk protest movement, and generational divides between women in the American south. After a Fulbright year in Russia, HANNA worked in TV Production at Mississippi Public Broadcasting before then enrolling at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism, where she was awarded the Gobind Behari Lal Award for Exceptional Reporting, as well as won a pitch competition hosted by the Tribeca Film Institute.

   I am a co-founder of and the Head of Story for Elemmir, a B2B marketing start-up that is venture-supported and that follows a SaaS model- Managing team of 4 to complete production + fulfill delivery requirements, as well as establishing creative direction for Elemmir\'s product- Standardizing workflows for production + post production - Product conception, design, development, implementation,+ adjustment for videos serving B2B SaaS tech sales - Business development for Elemmir, including creating + implementing marketing campaigns, referral programs,+ upselling existing clients- Conducting remote interviews + overseeing all remote production across varied project briefs at a high scale- Leveraging existing softwares for most efficient workflow
