Staff Data Scientist and Forward Deployed Data Science Team Lead: I established and lead bp’s first Forward Deployed Data Science team embedded in every bp operating region. My team partners directly with the business to deliver high‑impact, end‑to‑end data science solutions that accelerate decision‑making and business outcomes. Our model combines deep domain immersion with technical excellence (Palantir\'s Foundry platform SMEs, ML/AI engineering), prioritising the highest‑value opportunities for customers across all regions.AI Champion: I serve as a local advocate and trusted advisor for AI adoption, governance, and education within the business. My responsibilities include identifying high-value AI opportunities, ensuring responsible and compliant use of AI in line with bp’s ethical principles, and supporting the tracking and triage of use cases in the AI Inventory. I also drive communication and upskilling by promoting AI education initiatives, sharing success stories, and acting as a feedback loop to the central AI Acceleration team, helping scale best practices and address business challenges across the organisation.

My passion is designing and deploying data-driven solutions that deliver transformational business value. I bridge the gap between business and technology, enabling rapid, informed decisions through data science and AI.Today, I lead bp’s first Forward Deployed Data Science team, partnering directly with our business customers to deliver end-to-end data science solutions that accelerate outcomes. As an AI Champion, I advocate for responsible adoption, governance, and education, helping scale best practices and unlock high-value opportunities across the organisation.Previously, I was an Advisor to bp’s EVP Technology (CEO‑1), launched the board-level bp Digital Advisory Council with members from the Executive Team and FTSE 100 CIOs. I led the “AI for Everyone” programme engaging 10% of bp’s workforce. I also founded the Data and Analytics Community of Practice members), reverse‑mentored members of the bp Board, and delivered high value digital products spanning midstream fuels to global production reporting.Outside work, I thrive beyond my comfort zone, running ultra‑marathons, endurance swimming (including an English Channel relay), and flying as a private pilot.Always happy to connect on energy, data science, AI, and building the energy landscape of the future.
