ABOUT HANNAH SUNG
I am a senior at Newton North High School and an incoming Bioengineering major at Northeastern University with a strong interest in neuroscience. I am the founder of sdSTEM (She Does STEM), an initiative dedicated to supporting first-generation, low-income, and female students in discovering and pursuing opportunities in STEM.Through sdSTEM, I work to expand access to mentorship, resources, and community for students who are often underrepresented in STEM fields. I am especially interested in the intersection of physics, medicine, and technology, and I am excited to continue building inclusive pathways into STEM through both my academic work and advocacy.
