ABOUT HANNAH SHIRLEY SMITH
I am a History and French undergraduate currently completing my second year abroad work placement as an English Teaching Assistant in a primary school in Northern France, where I use my language skills daily in a fast-paced classroom environment. I previously worked as a Creative Communications Intern at EURORDIS – Rare Diseases Europe in Paris, bringing my experience to nearly two years in communications. Furthermore, I spent last summer at a media PR agency Percy & Warren. I am passionate about digital storytelling and the cultural dialogue between brands and consumers. I thrive in diverse teams, am highly organised under pressure, and enjoy taking initiative as an enthusiastic leader. I am eager to gain further industry experience before returning to Durham University to complete my History and Modern Languages degree.
