About Hannah Terry
Reverend Hannah R. Terry is the Founding Executive Director of FAM Houston—a 501c3 nonprofit organization with the mission to work for justice by building empowered community with resettled refugees, immigrants, and local Houstonians. Throughout her twelve years in interreligious community work in Texas, she has equipped diverse faith communities to embody asset-based community development work toward the vision of “a city where everyone belongs.” As a nonprofit leader, she is passionate about shaping communities and institutions to prioritize mutual-learning, innovation, and sustainability. Terry holds a bachelors degree in communication from Roberts Wesleyan University, a master of divinity from Duke University, and certification in Forming Missional Communities from The Missional Wisdom Foundation. She is an ordained United Methodist clergyperson who loves pizzas of all varieties, habanero peppers, and the stories behind home cooking.
