ABOUT HANNAH PRESTON-MILES

I am a seasoned higher education professional with a Master\'s degree in Higher Education Administration and Policy from Northwestern University. With a proven track record, I\'ve made a point to build strong relationships in every circle I enter, from first-year and transfer students to colleagues and employer contacts. Crafting engagement strategies and fostering communities are my specialties, and I treasure the opportunity to not only guide my students toward their professional development goals but assist them as they seek the fulfillment that a successful career and well-balanced life can provide. Through my experiences within career and academic advising, as well as enrollment management, I have gained valuable skills in presenting and facilitation, team management, advising, and collaboration.Having grown up in a rural community and personally experienced the transformative and positive impact higher education can have on students, my areas of interest include college access and enrollment, career services, and student development with a focus in diversity and inclusion initiatives. I am interested in opportunities within higher education where I can provide students with inspiration, ideas, and connections. I am driven to be a resource to students who need one most.
