Prepare policy reports, briefings, and consultation responses, working closely and collaboratively with colleagues, award holders, Fellows and other stakeholders • Identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with experts within and outside the Academy and ensure the effective use of expertise necessary for the delivery of international programmes and activities• Prepare and deliver roundtables on themes such as the war in Ukraine, Net Zero, and food security for colleagues from FCDO,(inter)national organisations, and the House of Commons • Craft policy recommendations and key points of advocacy for the British Academy to deliver to policymakers, including increasing the UK’s investment in social sciences and humanities• Manage International Programme Advisors and support their professional development• Represent the Academy at appropriate meetings and events, and present the Academy’s views and positions on particular issues• Identify and pursue opportunities for engagement with external organisations and stakeholders including other UK National Academies, relevant government departments, civil society and international partners in pursuit of the Academy’s international strategic objectives• Developed and currently facilitate a monthly gathering of staff on various topics related to disability, equality and inclusion
